My mom came to visit us yesterday, and we went to a quilt exhibit at the Museum of Natural History at UF. If you live in Gainesville, you really should check this out, even if you don't quilt. They were all depicting scenes from Florida, and they were all extremely intricate and beautiful. Here are some pictures, but really they don't do them justice:

This one was my favorite! It was huge, probably big enough to cover a king-sized bed, and the scene is made up of tiny, one-inch squares of cloth sewn together. I can't imagine how long it took to make it, but it was awe-inspiring.

This is a close-up of the bush:

Mom also brought Howie the Guinea Pig for us to take care of while she and dad visit Tennessee, so we have a regular zoo right now. Just wait until all 14 bearded dragon eggs hatch! Hope all is well with you!
